I will but if Bobby dared to change Boris sound, then i will quit!
ReplyDeleteYippee!
ReplyDeleteAudio or video? I'm hoping for the latter!
ReplyDeleteIt will be audio. Unless RS finally found the box he was looking for. : )
ReplyDeletei was hoping since it's past midnight in england it might have been up by now :P
ReplyDeleteit's 00:20 in the UK and the links are not active yet
ReplyDeletei thought it was 1:20am? that's what google says
ReplyDeletemaybe by american midnight (eastern) it'll be up. because i mean, that's like 5am in england, right?
ReplyDeleteWhat time do you suppose Robert wakes up in the morning? I never figured him for an early riser.
ReplyDeleteHate to say I missed that tour, Craig. I was at the Texas Stadium show in 1992.
ReplyDelete@Brad four in the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI was. I sat on the front of the grass. My friends and I were 2 late buying tickets to get in the seated section.
ReplyDelete*sigh* I wish I had been there with you, Craig ;)
ReplyDelete7.05 am in London...at work...and not working yet :(
ReplyDeleteIt's still not up. Odd :S
ReplyDeleteThe present time, according to my wrist, is a hair past a freckle. That's GMT +10 btw.
ReplyDeletePM - Get to work!!!
ReplyDeleteTIME IS MONEY
eheheh...yeah i meant the site is not working yet ;)

ReplyDeletesounds great but the tracks are mislabeled.
ReplyDeletei can't stream it at work...is anyone planning on doing a rip like with the Alternatives CD? :)
ReplyDeleteI thought it was supposed to be video?!? Oh well, it will be great to have a better copy of the show. I was there. My friend that was on LSD at them time said all she remembers is Robert coming out onstage looking like an angel. There was a sorority girl next to me yelling, "enough already. Play another song!" when the band played that long version of A Forest. I wanted to smack her for that. When they payed the WCIBY?\Lovecats|Aristocats medley, I freaked. I couldn't believe they were playing a song from my favorite Disney movie.
ReplyDeleteHow annoying: I just got an email from the disintegration website telling me that Disintegration Live In Dallas was up. And it still isn't up. However the other stuff is working again which is redundant as I downloaded it here strait-away :P
ReplyDeleteJust keep checking I suppose :S
i got up a few hours ago and it was working (i played a bit of one song to check) but i ran down for breakfast first. and now it won't work for me..
ReplyDelete@Thomas Lee-Smith
ReplyDeleteyou got an email? how? did you get the email registration there to work?
okay mine's working now :) or at least plainsong is
ReplyDelete@Lindsey
ReplyDeleteYeah I registered on their mailing list last week.
Still not working :'(
ReplyDeleteIts working now guys! Wooootttt
ReplyDeleteThomas: Try closing the site or reloading it. It's been up for about 15-20 minutes now.
ReplyDeleteOoh it's working thanks Craig. If anyone wants to make them in to mp3s, I wouldn't mind :P
ReplyDeleteYou have to clean your browser's cache or open the site on a different browser (firefox, opera, etc.)
ReplyDeleteI have noticed that -again- Robert mixed it all to almost sound like today's Cure (muffled sound and drums buried in the mix).
@Thomas Lee-Smith, or anyone else who got an email from the Disintegration microsite - could you please say what the full email address of the sender was? My crappy spam filter will not let through emails from mailing lists unless I tell my isp the specific domain name they are coming from...thanks!
ReplyDeleteevery time i try to register for the mailing list i get "server error in application 'interscope - thecure.com'.... http error 405.0, method not allowed.... bla bla bla"
ReplyDelete:(

ReplyDeleteSince no one else has posted this yet, the Dallas concert is an RTMP stream. It's one continuous file, not individual tracks.
ReplyDeleteYou would have to capture the stream and then divide the tracks manually.
A recording of the stream has been posted to CCC if you'd like to download it. :)
ReplyDeleteThe tracks were not split on the recording.

ReplyDeleteNice work splitting the tracks-I was at this show and it was one of the highlights of my concert-going career. Thanks a lot.
ReplyDeleteNice to get five discs for the price of three. Thanks for the uploads, Robert.

ReplyDelete@Entreat: Thank you very much for splitting the files. Much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteI consolidated your files into one download. You can find rapidshare and megaupload links updated in the first post of this thread.

I threw together some cover art using everybody's favorite new font:

ENTREAT, didn't mean to step on your toes. I didn't see your cover art. I love how you blend Robert's face into the flower petals!
ReplyDeleteThat pic is actually from Cureconnections

ReplyDeleteENTREAT, the second cover looks great.
ReplyDeletehey entreat,
ReplyDeleteCan you post the wave files??
Hey Mr. Smith,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Dallas concert bonus. Very generous and thoughtful; you're the best!
Best regards,
Rob, from Canada
I'd love to know the exact address of the original rtmp file, can someone please tell me?
ReplyDelete"Original"-Cover:

It sounds really great to me – a better mix than Entreat, I think. And the performances seem much more energised too. Sounds like it was an amazing gig!
ReplyDeleteThe complete bell-intro would be nice...
ReplyDeleteCURECONNECTIONS will be posting the original 320 bit rate mp3 file that they posted yesterday as an individual track download soon. Keep watching this thread for the updated download links.

@ Crazydiamond83: I do have the original wave file that was recorded but the tracks are not split. If you want that please let me know. I'd be happy to provide it to you. :)
I will be uploading the Wave files shortly for those interested

ReplyDeleteYeah. None of the cover links are working for me either.
ReplyDelete@MartyUK: The link works (as well as the other links).

ReplyDelete@ cult hero. They don't seem to be working for me. Am I being thick or what?

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing show...I really don't understand why RJS doesn't sell their live shows online. I think it's safe to say we'd all be dropping a lot of cash on live soundboards from his archives at $10-$15/show. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks to those who ripped for the WAVs/MP3s. Much appreciated!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the very cool covers guys!
ReplyDelete@Entreat: I have been racking my brain all day trying to figure out where you took the CURECONNECTIONS picture from that you used for your cover art. I finally figured it out!
It was taken from cover art that one of our talented moderators did last year for the Prayer Tour 20 year celebration...the compilation that CCC did was for the Best of Disintegration live.
http://www.cureconnections.com/the-cureconnections-compilations/5610-download-the-best-of-disintegration-live-1989-a.html
I spoke to that moderator, Skuld, earlier today and she gave me a little history on the cover art.
The photo of Robert is a pic that she took of him during the Lisbon 2008 show. The photo of the flowers were taken by Skuld and are actually located at her mother's residence. Pretty cool!
If you like to see more of her works you can visit her website at http://www.taniaflores.com/. Her photography is amazing! Please note that all works are copyrighted so you must get her permission to publish anything that she has done.
And now back to your regularly scheduled program! LOL!
Smooches,
Pussycat
Here is a new cover I made for the Dallas show, I will take down the other one as I did not know the artwork was copyrighted

@ Thomas Lee-Smith - belated thank you!
ReplyDeleteNeat!

ReplyDeleteENTREAT, I've noticed a (very) minor sonic hiccup or two on at least 3 of the songs. I'm guessing this is because it was captured from a streaming source (which can be unreliable sometimes, I know). Any insight would be appreciated. On a side note, I love hearing the squeals from the audience!
ReplyDeleteI love this performance, a big reason being the audience. I have to grin every time I hear the audience lose its shit when Robert starts singing in "Plainsong."
