Cure on the big screen in Portland
The Clinton Street Theater in Portland, OR. is showing something called Love Me, Love Me on Aug. 21st and 24th, and it appears to be some sort of compilation of live performances including The Cure, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, New Order, and others. If anyone has more info on this, please let me know. (Thanks April)

hi sofia!
ReplyDeleteHave fun, April! And please let us all know what they showed.
ReplyDeleteHey Sofia. No hurricanes for us so far this year. Been a nice, quiet season. Hope it stays that way.
oh, I will do a full report. I am kind of curious as to what footage they are going to show.
ReplyDeleteSo, the show tonight was fun. It was a bunch of footage from various European shows put together (i.e. Top of the Pops, Peel Sessions, Eurovision2, BBC). The Cure clips were from a Eurovision2 channel...one video I have seen on youtube..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DE1ndftmPE
ReplyDeleteBut they also played Three Imaginary Boys and Fire in Cairo.
The Depeche Mode clips were GREAT as well...
I felt like I was at home on the couch, and it was 1983. They included classic commercials and all.
Part II is on Monday
awesome !!!
