  2. Sorry, but a lot is lost in the current live version without someone capable of playing the drum part as Boris made it. Jason, unfortunately, changed it, and not for the better. I'm really looking forward to the NYC shows, but, imho, this song does not work as well as it should live, and it's because the drums are off. The studio version was recorded with only Robert and Boris in a couple of days (according to an interview of Robert), and, as old as the loss is, it still can sometimes hit a Cure fan, when they hear a version like the one being played. This does not even get into all the likely great music that was lost because Boris left, and, maybe, Robert never let him come back. We'll never know. If they ever do release a new LP, I hope Porl and Boris are included in the recording process. Jason has become a capable drummer, but his style has never fit into the band well. At least there's certain albums he's not allowed to put digital loops and crap on, like Disintegration's songs.

    1. We had not the opportunity to see and hear Boris playing this song, We do not know how he would make it live.

  3. "Burn" is a very overrated song IMO. And Boris will never come back. Robert still Think Jason is the best drummer on the planet.
