Hollywood Bowl presale today

Presale tickets for The Cure at The Hollywood Bowl on May 22nd, 2016 will go on sale at 10 am Pacific time this morning. Good luck to everyone trying for them today!

There are at least 3 presale codes (all 3 have been tested & work):
CUREBOWL
JACKCURE
KROQcure

A few tips about presales:

1. STAY CALM! I know you're excited and nervous, but getting all flustered when you are trying to get tickets does you no good. No matter what happens today, you WILL have other oppertunities to score tickets to the show. Relax and focus on your mission. :)

2. Make sure you have an account at Ticketmaster and are signed in already. Don't waste time doing that while the sale is active.

3. Once you've secured tickets, remember that you do have a few minutes to check out. No need to rush, the tickets will be held in your cart while you go through the various screens. Just keep an eye on your countdown clock, check out before it hits 0:00, and you'll get your tickets.

4. The presale will most likely sell out very fast. Don't worry if it does, because the show itself isn't sold out, just the limited amount of tickets allocated for the presale. If there are 10,000 tickets for sale, sometimes only 1,000 or even less will be allocated to the presale. The rest of the tickets will be available during the general sale, which in this case will be Friday morning at 10 am.
Have to strike this one. Robert's latest post seems to indicate that ALL seats were available today, not just a small percentage. It that's accurate, whatever you see left right now, is all that will be offered on Friday.

5. Possibly the most important thing I can tell you is to never stop trying to get tickets. If TM tells you no more tickets are available, ignore it, and keep trying! I can't tell you how many times I've scored great seats 30 or even 60 minutes after the site says it's sold out. Because of the cart holding system, and people deciding not to purchase, or to try for better seats, tickets can get put back into to the system at any time. Just keep trying until you either get bored, or have to leave and do something.

6. Do not waste time whining and moaning on Facebook, Twitter, or other sites, about how much TM sucks, how slow the site is, that ticket brokers are the living embodiment of evil, etc, while the sale is active. You are wasting value time that you could be using to try to get tickets. Plenty of time to complain AFTER the sale is over or sold out.

    Just scored tickets to LA. Not sure which presale code worked, I tried them all. I was able to grab tickets at around 10:05 so keep trying if it doesn't work at first. I must have tried at least 10 times before tickets came up! Can't wait until May!!!

    Was able to finally get terrace with the JACK code… Still wishful for Garden. Have two tickets for G that I am happy to sell to anyone interested. Bought them before I pulled the terrace ones. Woooo. gotta get to work now. Glad to have some good tix.

      Regular onsale is on Friday. You can always try then too. I thought today was chaotic because of the multiple presale codes. I had luck with some but not with others. At least on Friday, you'll be in one line.

      Yep of course - I have a feeling I'm better off buying of a fan with spares. Was advised by ticket master I can't use my credit card if the billing address doesn't match (which it doesn't) and I don't want to use the box office option in case my dates change. Might just wait for more dates in Jan! Got over excited

    Got tickets. For anyone still struggling the picking them on the map/seating chart option still works.

      It's a tab on the tickets page. Isn't always available, but when it is, it offers "official platinum seats" with some proceeds going to "charity". Those tickets were going for $725 - $825 each.

    I got a ticket to The Hollywood Bowl. I'm so excited!! Thanks for the tips. I got very nervous, but I was very determined. I don't live anywhere near LA, but If I don't have any luck with any of the others, I'll be there!! I'm very glad they're doing more than 1 city.

    I need to get pool or garden tickets so I can surprise my girlfriend. First presale was a terrible experience, especially since I had good seats and upon submitting payment, I was given an "error" message/page so those were lost. I had the same misfortune the second time with seats even further back this time. Third time I couldn't even pull 2 tickets. What a bummer.
