    1. I don't know much about how 'past their prime' applies to musicians. It's not like a pro athlete who only has a limited time due to the physical nature of one's sport. I guess there's no accounting for aesthetics and personal taste though... if you prefer the younger look and writing style of Bob from 25 years ago, then you simply like what you like, can't fault that. But to say that the band today isn't performing tighter and at a much higher caliber than in 1987, then you're just nuts or delusional about days long gone by. Mind you, I'm not speaking of new vs. old songs, just live performances.

    2. Last months RAH gig was just as powerful as when I first saw them in the mid 80's, probably better and I don't think I'm nuts or deaf. The quality of musicianship is outstanding and boy did Robert deserve a round of applause for his vocals on Prayers For Rain !
