BottleRock single day passes

Applauze pre-sale for single day tickets is now live.
Tip from @nil_by_mouth: "There's no booking fee when using the app. $139 even. $8 fee via ticketfly."

BottleRock pre-sale is now live. Use promo code DAYOFF to save $10 until Tuesday, when the general on sale starts.

Also, the lineups for each day have been posted.

Update (04/03/14): Promo code DAYOFF is working again and now drops single day passes by $20 to $129. (Thanks Olivier)

Update (04/09/14): Well, I hope you didn't buy your passes early, because prices continue to fall. Promo code DAYOFF now drops single day passes by $40 to $109. And the ROCKNAPA code will also get you $40 off the 3 day passes. So, buy now or wait and see if they fall even lower?  (Thanks Olivier)

Update (04/10/14): And even lower prices today. Living Social has 1 day passes for $99, 3 day passes for $199, and VIP for $549. (Thanks John)

Update (04/21/14): Groupon is matching the Living Social deal for the next 7 days. Same pricing, 1 day passes for $99, 3 day passes for $199, and VIP for $549. (Thanks John)

    1. For which site? Applauze or Ticketfly? Or both?

    2. Both!
Applauze -> can't even select France.
BottleRock -> can-t accept my at least 5 different VISA cards tested by friends here.

    1. Yes. They are the main headliner on Friday night.

    2. I wish we knew how long their set was going to be. With the festival ending at 10pm, I believe they would go on no later than 8pm...

  6. Thanks Craig, got my tix this morning too, would have waited till the 10th without you.

I'm so stoked they are playing in pretty much my back yard. They play the area most every tour, but I usually have to drive 2 hours to get to the show, this is a 20 minute drive.

  9. DAYOFF (single day) doesn't seem to work anymore. ROCKNAPA (3-day pass) still does, though.

    1. Yeah, they said the presale code would end on Tuesday when the regular sale started.

Strange that the 3 Day code still works. Maybe they forgot to deactivate it in the system?

    2. And now DAYOFF for single-day tickets is working again. It is.

    3. I wonder if DAYOFF can be applied to Applauze for even more savings. If not, then Your $129 gets bumped to $137...which I guess is still cheaper. Heck, why am I complaining, I got 'em for FREE. :)

    4. Nope. Applauze was used for the pre-sale. It's still $20 off, fee or not. $137 instead of $157.

  10. Meanwhile, The Cure's social media person has just now posted the presale info on Twitter and Spacebook. You, know, after it has ended. :)

Fire that person! Hire me! Well, at least for Twitter. :)

  11. So apparently my French VISA card is not compatible with their ticketing system. I hate this already.

    1. William, I may have an extra ticket to sell in case you are not able to purchase one directly from the event site.

    2. I'd also be happy to help you out. I live about 20 minutes from the venue. This wouldn't be the first time I helped someone traveling to a CA show from this site.

    3. I sorted it out with William on Monday.

  12. It must be said. The rest of that line up is terrible. What a horrible excuse for a festival line up.

    1. Really? That seems a pretty legit lineup for a festival. Sure it isn't full of indie rock darlings, but for a festival in Napa it has some pretty big names from current and past acts.

    2. The headliners are ok. Not sure about Eric Church but he's big in the states so it is different from my view in the UK. Whilst Outkast are huge, I doubt they would headline any large UK festivals. They are headlining Bestival this year but are also sub-headlining Bruno Mars at the smaller Wireless Festival.

TV on the Radio & Weezer sub-headlining? Nah, in the UK are mainland Europe they would at least be third or lower down the booking list on any given day.

  13. I tweeted @BottleRockNapa asking them how long The Cure would be allowed to play and mentioned the 3.5 hour RAH shows. I told them that I don't think they would get that much time.

And they replied with: Stranger things have happened.

  16. How do you get to the front row at a festival?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. With patience, a lot of it. Or, in some places such as Voodoo, you almost have to buy a VIP pass or a VIP upgrade (don't get me started on the humongous size of the VIP section at Voodoo, I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen my share of festivals).

      Delete
    2. Thanks, Olivier! I completely forgot about the whole VIP fiasco. Hmmm....

  18. Anybody have any idea how long the DAYOFF code will last now that the regular sale has started? I'm trying to justify the cost of flying back for the weekend.

    1. No clue, but instead of removing it, they seem to just keep giving bigger discounts with it. :)

Regular sales started March 25th, and with the exception of 2 or 3 days right after that, the code has worked continuously. First giving $10 off, then $20, and now $40.
