Looks like at this venue (or is it ticketmaster.com.mx in general?) foreigners can only choose will call and will call works only until 48 hours before the show. If you haven't collected your ticket by then, they may be cancelled - so you have to show up two days early. Does anyone have any experience with that in Mexico?
Can anyone help me navigate the Mexican ticketmaster site? I'm in Austraila and have an Australian ticketmaster login. I can't tell from the site if I should use my Australian login and password to buy tickets. It lets me login to the Mexican site using these details, but it is not clear if I can actually buy tickets this way. Does anyone know if I should perhaps get another email address and sign up again?
The event page is now up at Ticketmaster. Price-wise, charges vary ($40 to $250) in addition to the actual ticket price. And there still is that weird 48h restriction for will call: "Los boletos de Will Call se deben recoger máximo 48 hrs antes del evento .../... Pasado este tiempo la compra podrá ser cancelada".
The symbol for the Mexican peso (MXN) is $ or Mex$. There are no prices in USD on this page, they all are in MXN, including the 250 charge. The relation between $250 and $1250 is that the latter is the ticket price and the former is the corresponding Ticketmaster service charge, making it a total of $1500 for a ticket in section Green A. And at this point 1500 MXN = 118 USD = 87 EUR.
A most excellent way to check what you're going to see at Foro Sol in Mexico City depending on which section you get your ticket in: http://tmespeciales.ticketmaster.com.mx/mi2/?VID=163903
Hey guys! Trying to get myself a ticket in Gen A i bought one for Green A (yeah, stupid me). Anyway I bought another one in Gen A and now i have 1 ticket that I would like to sell. I just ask for the same $1500 pesos I paid (or $110USD). This is in section 1 of the Green A area). I have the ticket in pdf format already so if someone is interested please let me know.
Hi - I am hoping to score some tickets in Gen A when the general sale opens up - does anyone know if it is allocated seating or a standing area? It looks to be standing???? thanks
I just bought 2 tickets in the Najaranja 06 Row 11, Seats 16 amd 17. Can anyone tell me what these seats are like for viewing concerts? I really wanted General A but they were all sold out. I am unfamiliar with the venue. Appreciate your feedback.
Thanks Mad Bob. The sections you mentioned didnt have seats available, but I will check again if I think I can sell mine. I've missed them in the states always due to unfortunate circumstances and am determined to at least BE at one of their shows. Not sorry to go to Mexico however because I love it there.
if anyone has an extra general A ticket for sale please let me know. coming down from nyc so i'm buying :) please email me at jameshhare@gmail. thx, james
please tell me this is in pesetas.
ReplyDeleteI believe that's pesos.

ReplyDeleteYes, I had to do that in May 2011 for a show at the arena next door. Have your email printed out, and your passport ready.
DeleteIs there a seating chart to show the levels?
ReplyDeleteJust an FYI, the currency rate of a peso to dollar is about 12.75 MXN pesos to 1 USD. Your US dollar amounts are off quite a bit.
DeleteYep: http://www.ticketmaster.com.mx/seatingchart/163903/46117
DeleteCool! Thanks a bunch!

ReplyDeleteDoesn't it say you can print at home with Ticketfast? Might be the way to go with these.
DeleteI tried for other events and TicketFast was available only to people with a billing address in Mexico.
DeleteAh, sorry about that. Guess that's not the way to go, then.
DeleteIt seems that it's either get there two days early or benefit from Mexican friends. :-)
DeleteWhat exactly is the relation between 250US dollars and 1250 mexican pesos?

DeleteThank you Olivier! Perfectly clear now!

Flights from LA to Mexico are around $300... this might be do-able.
ReplyDeleteHow does a US resident without a Banamex account access the presale?
ReplyDeleteI would think that you can't. You would have to find someone with a card to buy them for you. Or just wait for the general sale.
DeleteI found a Mexican friend to order them for me. Fingers crossed!
DeleteThat's great! Good luck, Aaron!

ReplyDeleteThey haven't sold out yet, so I think you might actually find tickets available on Wednesday for all sections.
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope so!!! I need to GENERAL A! That Banamex presale drives me mad!!!
ReplyDeleteBill
I meant two, not to!
ReplyDeleteI got my tickets zone Green A :)
ReplyDeleteWe got our tickets! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteHELP!!! Do I need a Mexican ID or passport to pick up tickets at Will Call? Can I use my USA passport?
DeleteYour US passport will be just fine.
DeleteThank you, Olivier.

ReplyDeleteCheck here:

Then look for your section, row and numbered seat and you can see a look from your seat to the scenary.
I´ve been there few times and i think all depends of the artist you want to see.
I recommend General A or General B, then Green A/B, the rest could be good but the truth is you´ll be far from the stage, specially the C sections.

DeleteMexico selling very fast : General A, Verde A and C seem to have sold out.
