Not sure if Robert actually runs that page. A page description is actually in caps letters so maybe that's his job. But the members list is still old (Porl and no Roger, or a guest player RG).
Entirely recognizable! I still can't believe that recent video stating otherwise...
If I get a spare moment and don't know what to do with it, I'm thinking about trying to "digitally" remove Robert's makeup. I might even go so far as to give him short hair and glasses (since he apparently wears them for driving). I've really noticed lately how his makeup really does mask his aging to a point. Now that might be less recognizable, but it's not like he'll have a whole new face.
I think someone named Peter used to run their myspace waaay back when they first got it. I always wondered how you get jobs like that in the first place.
Who even runs that page? Good image!
ReplyDeleteAndy nailed this. Perspective, saturation, lighting and the shadowing of his left side just brings Robert out there.

Robert said in that veeery funny interview that he doesn't use facebook.
ReplyDeleteYeah, he says the only thing that he posts on is TheCure.com, so any updates/posts on Facebook or elsewhere are not his.
DeleteHe looks pretty recognizable to me...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure someone in PR does a minimal job of running the Facebook Page :)

Love his jacket....wonder where he got it
ReplyDeleteI would gladly help them with online operations and take over the social platforms!
ReplyDeleteDo it!

aaron, i think you'd do a fine job at that!
DeleteHaha thanks guys, I should ask! :P I am always on the damn things myself!
DeleteIf they ever outsourced the Twitter job, you'd be in for a fight, Aaron. :)
DeleteIt's a great photo but a terrible photoshop job on taking out the background.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
