  1. Secret 7" website mentions that "Wish" had been nominated for a Grammy Award. Did someone remember that The Cure got 3 nominations ? Have a look here for some Awards and nominations and it would cool if you could add the missing ones :

  4. Aaron, when going in rhe artwork section, I see plenty of covers but which ones are for FIIL?

  5. David, you are not supposed to know which covers are for which singles. That's the whole point of it. It's a secret 7".

  6. One clue to a possible Cure cover...90% chance that it includes a heart. : )

  7. Craig, I'm missing the concept, a bit... Heard something about Paris 2008 dvd ? No more news from the film director. Do you think we could launch something for a Latin American Tour ? Sent some more Curespotting.

  9. Congrats to those who have been selected.
Anybody is going to the exhibit and planning to buy a secret 7"?
Indeed, when there is a heart or a Robert caricature (or a tombstone bleeding), you can pretty much be sure that for 'friday'.

  11. Why are you not hopeful?

Hum, I have no idea which is Robert's sleeve!

  13. 90% of those entries look like the submissions of a bad 9th grade art class...

  14. Morris - there are many sleeves (I think 40-45 for each song) that were created by the teenagers from the Teenage Cancer Trust. So, yes, if it looks like it was created by a 13 year old, it's very likely to have been done by one of the cancer patients.

  15. I thought 90% of the entries were awful. Just my opinion, don't throw rocks at me please. But as long as you had fun doing them, that's fine with me.
I'd find it funny to know if Robert had put it under a false name how many votes it would have got.

  16. ...open mouth, insert keyboard. I should have read more before getting snarky. I will say that whole Secret 7" page was very convoluted and confusing. I had no idea it had anything to do with Children and Cancer. :sigh:

  18. Just saw that! Congratulations, Alastair!

  19. Haha, Fabien G, I would agree with that statement! Unfortunately, a lot of the ones that I thought were utter crap were picked and a lot of ones I thought were good didn't! I know art is subjective, but some of those had nothing to do with ANYTHING. Maybe it makes me a bad person, but I can live with that.
