Update (4/23-25): Perfect.Murder reports that Rough Trade East in London still has 15-20 copies each of the 5
And from @crawleyrocket - "I got all 5 RSD albums at Rough Trade East last night (24/04/12) and there were still plenty of copies of each. 17 Seconds only had about 5 but the others had up to 20."
In hopes of helping other fans find them, if you see the UK Record Store Day Cure colored vinyl releases today, please let me know the store, city, etc. Photos would be nice, too. Thanks!

Dom found Faith at Flashback in Crouch End, London. Had all 5, but only The Top & Faith left when he arrived.
Guillaume - "London. Bought the last 3 (TIB, 17, Top) at Sister Ray. Found Faith & Pornography at Phonica. They still had some."
Marion - "got all 5 Cure vinyls at

Awesome.
ReplyDeleteAh, so jealous of UK fans! Happy Record Store Day everyone :)

ReplyDeleteso, is any place selling these online yet?
ReplyDeleteYes, I am a madman! Just purchased all 5 on Ebay from a seller, for $49 each, with combined shipping of $10. Not bad, considering the actual cost for the items from the Rough Trade Shop is $41 each! And you'll have to wait until this Saturday and hope they still have some left to sell to the public.
ReplyDeleteany reviews of how they sound??
ReplyDeleteI got all 5 RSD albums at Rough Trade East last night (24/04/12) and there were still plenty of copies of each. 17 Seconds only had about 5 but the others had up to 20. Can someone clarify about the remastering on these issues: I am presuming that the sound is the same as the Deluxe Editions from the past few years?
ReplyDeleteStupido Shop in Helsinki has all but 3IB.
ReplyDeleteOk. I was able to get a copy of the Cure RSD releases and I have listened to the Top. Here is what i can tell you.
ReplyDelete(1) I am 99% positive these are from the remastered releases a few years back
(2) The one I have listened to is quieter than the remastered cd.
(3) The colors are pretty awesome.
(4) they made 2500 of each release
(5) The pressing I have listened to is pretty quiet (only one big pop-- and I bet that is from the static in dry Colorado.)
(6) On my system they are not a huge upgrade over the remastered cd's.
(7) The artwork is very nice.
(8) gzvinyl.com pressed them
