20 years of News, rumors, minutiae about The Cure
Headline should be "10 things you never knew about The Cure if you never heard of them before"... :D
What Walter said...
"the group has gone through seven line-up changes"I count 13 line-ups before Sydney, plus 3 in Sydney!
the only thing on there new to me was that apparently tire is spelled tyre in the UK.
robert's had a make-up artist for years though...
i have to admit that i was not aware of the first one.
10 things I already knew about The Cure. Nothing to see here, move along please.
I wish I was Robert Smith's make-up artist. That would be my ultimate dream job...
Know them all. Gosh we are boring. :P
I never knew his Bass VI was wired wrong. I wonder how it is wired then?
Yay my piece - Trust Chain Of Flowers to find it ;PWell duhhh us cure freaks know it all... There is nothing I can get past you guys! SWS
So, if we do know everything, what's the (wrong) wiring of the Bass VI? Does anyone really know?
Roberts 'main' Bass VI is wired out of phase (see Brian May wiring) the rest are all stock (Simons black and Porls White VI)
Obviously! But which pickup(s) had the out-of-phase wiring?
Awesome, thanks :)
All of them depending on pickup switch configuration - always the bridge (prominently) listen to push, exploding boy,
The "out of phase" concept makes sense only when we are talking about 2 or more pickups simultaneously. When only one pickup is on, there is no "out of phase" as there is no other pickup to be out-of-phase to. So, if all pickups are "out of phase" as you say, there is no difference whatsoever to the "in phase" config. So, which pickup(s) are reverse connected (which makes them out-of-phase to the non-reverse connected ones)?
the 11th thing you never knew about The Cure....what their current line up is!!! :)
Tomorrow we'll know the current line up!
