Temple of The Dog covers 'Fascination Street' on the first night of their reunion tour at Tower Theatre in Philadelphia, PA on Nov. 4th, 2016.
Thanks, @DebiDelGrande, @magicjewball, Carl, Garret, and everyone else who sent it in.
Damn this is cool. Wish I was lucky enough to get a ticket to one of their shows. Soundgarden consistently awesome Pearl jam are good as well. The temple of the dog was a nice side project from soundgarden to include Eddie vedder into the Seattle "scene" as it were when he was first starting with pearl jam. So for those who do not know the band consists of members of mother love bone -- who basically went on to form pearl jam + or - a few people Chris Cornell from soundgarden and Eddie vedder who was just starting with pearl jam. Very good album definitely worth checking out. Great cover of the song. But sadly most folks don't believe in cross contamination of their musical interests. So did not look like anyone cared sadly. Oh well.
Interesting, not as terrible as the Bowie cover of the same concert though. They did better with the Sabbath cover though, kind of obviously. Fortunately it wasn't Eddie singing FS (yes I hate PJ)
so it basically pearl jam with chris. oh how everyone looks excited
ReplyDeletehorrible - the crowd did seem to go nuts when they figured out what song it was
