Good to know. I'm thinking of getting a ticket, even if it IS a festival and I'd have to deal with lukewarm fans; at least, maybe they'll just leave instead of stay and talk during the songs. That would break my heart.
ReplyDeleteQuick question: How exactly are we supposed to get our passes? All I got was a confirmation that I paid for mine. Nothing electronic, no hard copy, nothing, and no further contact from Bestival. I can't very well expect to waltz in with nothing to show security or anyone else.
ReplyDeleteI'm fully expecting one crowd during the day that will clear out when the Cure hit the stage. Such a weird lineup...
ReplyDeleteAnd Shawn, I was wondering the same thing. After seeing the lineup, I'd REALLY like to trade my two-day passes for single day tickets, but not sure it's going to be possible.
You can't. They state that pretty plainly. No transfers. Why didn't you wait for single day passes?
DeleteMy electronic ticket arrived in my e-mail this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteThe VIP ticket options include a "Premium Main Stage Viewing Area".

Does this mean it's closer to the stage or just some balcony that's still farther away than being in the pit?
Thanks in advance.
