    Hi,

    I have a reasonable doubt.

    I bought 2 tickets for me and two for my wife in NY, with two different log in and information.

    One of them, saturday, is a spare one.

    The problem is: i used the same credit card, as my wife doesn´t have one.

    How can i mannage to offer the spare ticket if, maybe, i can get it cancelled?

    For the LA concerts, was written that tickets would be cancelled wihtout notice. For NYC, there was no info about it....

    Any help?

    I want a good orchestra seat for saturday nov 26 but I checked stub hub and I see that the good ones are selling in pairs. I'm going to ny by myself, so I don't mind to buy a pair of good ones and meet with some other cure fan, give the ticket and get the $ there. we can decide together which pair we can get.     I was about to post the exact same question as Bazar! I tried to find this info on the website of the Beacon but I can't find anything... Anyone knows if we're allowed to bring in cameras??

    From the Beacon FAQ:

    Cameras

    For family events, 35mm and digital cameras will be permitted into the Beacon Theatre, however, you must refrain from taking pictures during the performance. Taking photos during events is distracting not only to the performers, but your fellow patrons as well. Video cameras/recorders are strictly prohibited. This policy will be strictly enforced.

    For concert events, this policy is at the discretion of the artist. Please call Guest Relations at 212-465-6225, any weekday during normal business hours, for more information.

    I've been to the Beacon a few times in the past & I always took my camera, never had an issue. So from my experience it should be OK for the Cure shows since they do not mind fans taking pictures anyway! Good Luck! Love to see everyone pics!

    Can anyone give me some info on how bad are the seats with obstructed view, right behind the soundboard (orch 1, row S), on Beacon theatre? Any chance I’d be able to see the band or it will be only some guy’s back?

    Calling the Beacon 212-465-6500 can clear up the obstructed view question. TicketMaster wont be able to tell you.

    Unfortunately, I'm way up in the back by the exit doors - :P - On the bright side they still look to be better/closer than any previous Cure concert I've been to. Can not wait!

    I posted this in the LA thread, but it's important to consider for NYC:

    For anyone trying to 'scalp' and make a buck. Stubhub tickets have increased from an average of 250 available to close to 400 for some shows.

    Basic economics meaning 'supply and demand' says the supply is growing and demand is waning.

    Don't get caught with your pants down here, sell your ticket to a Cure fan for face value.

    And if you must buy from a scalper - wait until the day of , or before the show. The prices are going to crash.

    For example:

    502 tickets now up on Stubhub for each show 11/22 and 11/23.

    That's roughly 18% of the available seats for sale at ridiculous prices over FV.

    I expect day of show buyers aren't going to have a problem getting seats at or near FV from desperate sellers, lol.

    It wasn't aimed at anyone on this board. Craig won't allow you to sell here higher than face.

    It was aimed at people considering scalping the ticket at a higher price, and more so for people thinking about paying higher off stubhub or ebay.

    I am socialist when it comes to Cure tickets: The value is set for a reason. These are unique shows, and I support Robert's efforts for all fans to see the shows at the prices designated by the band and promoters.

    Again, it more so to say 'hey look, tickets available for sale on stubhub and ebay are increasing' from a general perspective and for people who may not have the time to follow the economics of these shows to make a better decision.

    Ticket minimum didn't stop the scalpers. One website has for $1500.00 each 8 seats available row cc on orchestra 1 or 2.
    so 8 real fans are setting in the back because we do not have inside connections with ticketmaster.

    My Saturday buyer backed out so once again I have 2 single tickets for sale.
    One for Saturday Orch Row Y, $116 plus shipping if neccessary or I can meet you before the show,

    About the curfew, I'm sure Robert knows if there is, and planned accordingly. The show has a pretty set running time, as it's the same sets each night, so he must know how much time he has. Also, Robert has shown that he has no problem with running over, and just paying the fine. : )

    Lucky enough to snag it first shot on ticketmaster myself. Unlucky enough to have reinjured my ankle yesterday, making travel in to nyc and required standing and walking a very bad thing. Which totally sucks. I just want to make sure this ticket doesn't go to waste.

    If u r in nyc but really want the ticket, I am willing to deduct cost of train ticket to nj from price of the ticket. (I can drive to meet u at train, but can't comfortably make the train trip in myself...otherwise, i'd go to the show!)
