  1. If you look closely, you'll notice that Simon is holding the top secret Cure plans behind his back.

  2. It's true, he really doesn't age

  3. It's pretty amazing, isn't it? He's either signed a deal with the devil, or really takes great care of himself. Must be the cycling.

  4. Now I want to know what he's hiding, Poor guy, he can't even go into a Staples without being harassed

  5. He wasn't being harassed. David knows him.

  7. Must be Simon's job to get the ink and paper for set lists...

  8. Wait.....it's Friday and we haven't heard anything yet................

  9. I never said anything was happening on Friday. That was just an assumption that people made, based on a joke between me and Perfect.Murder, about Rebecca Black and her song Friday.

  10. Shenanigans....I call Shenanigans

  11. Nope. Go back and read it. The only time I ever mentioned Friday was in a joking response to P.M saying he wanted the RS/Rebecca collaboration to be true. I said I couldn't reveal that until "Friday, Friday".

  12. Here you go:

perfect.murder said...I really hope you're going to tell us that the Rebecca Black collaboration is indeed true!!

  13. Haha Simon dressed up as Beano's Denis the Menace shopping for stationary in WHSmiths

Simon sightings are the best, my flatmates girlfriend once served him when she worked in a Fish and Chip shop. Guy gets about.

  14. ahah, dear Craig, I believe 99% of the fans (including myself) thought you were about to announce any major cure thing! (new album, tour, whatever).

    we hate you! :(

No, we don't :) But don't do that ever again!

  15. fabien,
i'm pretty sure when he has the okay he'll post the news. it's really not up to him?
but it's VERY nice to know that something good is around the corner.

    so thank you, craig.

  19. It is so funny, how people cause a little joke to snowball out of control, but then again my wife called me up at work to say "Monday?". No it cant be, I just hope they stick with the "every 4 years" formula, it is a whole bunch easier to plan these Cure pilgrimages out $$.

  20. @Lindsey - I saw it as a joke, too.
*sigh* as Cure fans, the news is often sparse, so many try to make a cake from a crumb at any chance.

I love my cure-y peeps for that. They make me smile.

  21. Oh, damn, Craig. I didn't get the "in" joke. So, is anything concrete happening soon or was it just a general attempt to cheer us all up?

"Caprica" sucked because Ron Moore stopped writing after the pilot and handed the reins to sucky Jane Espenson and then Kevin "Desperate Housewives" Murphy, but "Blood and Chrome" by one of BSG's best writers, Michael Taylor, should be awesome! Also, Ron Moore has written a pilot for a show "17th Precinct", which has been directed by Michael Rymer (who directed tons of BSG beautifully) and stars Jaime Bamber (Lee), my man James Callis (Baltar), and Tricia Helfer (Number 6). Can't fraking wait!

  22. I think craig is saying there is definitely some HUGE news due (and he already knows it), but it won't necessarily be a specific day...we will know the truth very soon...i guess!.

    ReplyDelete
  23. And feels it would be very unfair to the band if he says anything about anything, until the band are ready to say something first.

So, yes, good news coming, just don't know when.

    ReplyDelete
  24. And thank you for understanding, SL, Sofia, Lindsey, and Jo.

  25. 2 Graig!

    No trouble Graig!

PS>I know that u know & i understand that u can't divulge something for the moment...my only wish + others of course > i hope that something new will come from the studio because we need some new (or old?) sounds from there?

    Peace

  26. @ Craig

Of course I was joking when I wrote my :( point!
I'm sure you got it this way, didn't you?
    No harm done I hope!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Of course. No offense at all, Fabien G.

  28. Good to see him around :) He does look eternally young though! :P

    ReplyDelete
  29. Is he in Smiths? What were you buying Simon? A sharpener or maybe a ring binder? I guess it's something we'll never know...

    ReplyDelete
  30. Which section did you find the Simon Gallups in? I'm going to see if I can get one in my local WH Smith tomorrow!

  31. @Muldfeld- I am a BSG fan too! :)

  32. That's not Reading's present AWAY strip he's wearing, is it?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Is that the Royals' AWAY strip for 2010/11?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Now it can be revealed...Simon was obviously hiding a map of Australia and some Tim Tams behind his back. : )
