Early release for Entreat Plus vinyl

IGA has updated the official site with details on a Dec. 6th release for the Entreat Plus vinyl at the Universal store.

Note: "This a strictly limited and numbered edition that is only available from the Universal Cure store. Each disc is manufactured with its own unique pattern: no two discs are identical. The marble effect pattern on the vinyl is not printed but is created as part of a manufacturing process which means every disc will display a unique marbling effect, with the colours chosen to be sympathetic to the front cover artwork."

This appears to be unavailable to North American fans, most likely due to Elektra/Rhino having the rights in this region (Elektra/Rhino is releasing it here, not Universal), though that's only a guess at this time.

  4. I really want this...I checked with CD Universe and this is exlusive the Universal....in other words, the pre-orders are the basic vinyl version, not the color vinyl. Regardless, when I ordered it through the website, it won't allow it to ship to the US. LAME...anyone out there not in the states care to order one for me and I'll PayPal you the cost of the record and shipping?

  5. Mike- try shopping in British pounds. That's the only way to ship to 'rest of world'. Thats how I ordered mine for delivery to Australia.

If you shop using euros (default), it will only ship to Europe.

  6. I went through the entire process of ordering the colored vinyl from Universal (using pounds instead of Euros) and I got a "not available for sale to the US" message at the end. I realize that the US isn't the only country in the world and that we don't have tons of money to spend, but if they don't want the little we DO have, screw them AND their colored vinyl.

  9. My guess on the US problem is that due to Elektra having the US rights and since they're the ones releasing it here, not Universal, they can't offer it for sale in this region.

Just have to hope Elektra gets some to offer.
