HDNet update from Mark Cuban

"I wrote Mark Cuban this morning @ HDNet and he actually replied almost immediately.
Here's his response regarding my question of "when will it air".
Mark: "No date set yet. Go to www.hd.net and subscribe to the concert newsletter to find out when" (Thanks Jeff)

Update: Just got a response from HDNet: "We did shoot the concert but don't know as of yet when it may air on our network. Keep an eye on our website for details as we will post the concert dates once it is scheduled - probably at least a few months from now."

  7. Nope. And only 3 or 4 Si shots. A lot of nice shots of Porl and Robert though.

  8. I think this tour done wiped me out, financially, emotionally, physically! BF called and asked if I wanted to go to Tom Waits on Wed in Tulsa - I emphatically said "NO" because I am so exhausted from traveling and have no money after NYC - plus I have a lot to do before I go to France, and I want to spend time with my cats! .

I LOVE Tom Waits and so it's hard to turn that down! At least I see him on Sunday. :-)

PS I just spoke with Ideal Copy dude - Chris. They are so nice over there! I cancelled my order with them because I just could not wait any longer for FS, which I purchased today. Anyway, I have no ill will toward ICopy and hope Chris knows that. Excellent bunch of people - never had a bad experience with them!

  10. cat: I didn't think to ask you this before. Weren't you friends with a guy named Aaron? What happened to him?

  11. Wyatt: Cool. :) I was reading your profile about your "kids" and thought they were real human kids until I got to the last one - Doodle Bug! Heehee. (And I even thought that "Flash" was a cool name for a kid, too!)

  13. That's great, V. I can only imagine the revenge they would get on us for those names when they hit high school, if they were human :)

  14. Wyatt, I also love your pets names. My cat's name is Dingbat. But its based upon a character named Dingbat (played by Christina Applegate) in the very twisted Gregg Araki movie "Nowhere".

Big thumbs up on your devotion to your nephew. I am crazy wild about my little twin nephews...They are so damn cute. They have their first birthday on Sunday and I will be the fool spending a ton of money on toys for them, even though they'd much rather play with a plastic spatula and an empty cardboard box.

But I can't help from spoiling them. :)

  15. I hope they play the show, but I also hope they do not do like other shows I have seen before and cut it down. Either show it all or not at all. It would be nice if Robert would use it and share such a nice show with us!

  16. Wyatt! Thanks for the update. Love the picture! (Just like everyone else...) We (the lovely bf and I) have a gaggle of pets/kids here: Ninja Kitty, Squee, Meeper, Cosmo...just to name a few!

...Cat: I pre-ordered all my 7"'s months ago from them. I JUST got FS today. Oh well. The price I pay for collecting vinyl?

  17. Ideal Copy are good people. I canceled my order awhile back too after waiting forever and ever. Finally went the ebay route to get the 7"s.

  18. i'm sure they will cut it down, i've seen a few hdnet shows... just stumbling through when nothing else was on tv... (why else would i watch: rick springfield, and lynyrd skynrd?!... hahah) but the quality is great! and they have been known to edit in some interview type/backstage stuff... i think the full show would be up to robert... but hdnet will certainly whet our appetites! also a "few" months may actually suit the cure better since it will coincide with the release/buildup of the new album... we'll probably get mostly the new songs with a few of the bigger "hits" thrown in... my feeling is that we'll get middle/end of the set songs... as the venue was pretty empty early on... the hdnet cameras also made a few runs through the crowd, probably getting stock footage for the edits.
