Update on Disintegration remastered set

Update 3: Uncut did not publish their review in this month's issue. (Thanks Keith)

Update 2: Wired has a brief mention of the set in the April issue, and Uncut says they will have a review of it in their next issue. (Thanks Screamer, Heron, and Keith)

Update: Pause & Play says the new release date is May 25th in North America. Will this be the date that actually sticks?

"I spoke with someone the other day via the Rhino family and they don’t seem to have a new date in mind for the remaster…not sure what the hold up is and neither did they". (Thanks Friend of CoF)

And as previously mentioned, Universal has delayed it in Europe, and are now hoping for a late May release date.

There are a bunch of Cure articles/ads in the Spin archives at Google Books. Thanks to Slicing Up Eyeballs for finding them and listing them all for us, along with listings for a bunch of other great bands.

Almost Alice in the charts

Not going to follow this like with Cure releases, but here's a couple of figures for you. Almost Alice debuted at #5 last week in the Billboard Top 200 Album chart, with sales of 58,000. The album also debuted at #11 on the World Album Chart, with sales of 62,000. (Thanks David)

Fascination Street dates

Fascination Street will be playing at JBay Bar & Grill in Kirkland, WA. on March 13th, and at The Wonder Ballroom in Portland, OR. on March 26th. For more info and other dates, check out their website. (Thanks April)
