Safe and sound...and cooling down!

Everything is good here. No damage from the storm, just lots of debris everywhere. Didn't have power until an hour ago. Thanks to everyone for their best wishes and concern. Thanks to the NOPD fourth district and the La. National Guard for the nightly patrols, thanks to the utility workers who restored the power and phone lines, and most of all, thanks to V for keeping me sane through the 105 hours without any air. : ) Updates will be posted later tonight or tomorrow. But now it's time to start the cleanup, and to start wishing Ike away.

Gustav evacuation

I will be evacuating from New Orleans some time tonight. I'll be back as soon as I can, from wherever I end up. Wish all of us along the Gulf Coast, good luck!

Update: Many problems with the evac. last night, so I'm home again, and will just try to ride it out, and hope for the best. Thanks for all of the best wishes!

The Guardian has an article about the new album, and claims that none of the singles will be included on the album. I'm guessing that they just say that because none of the b-sides or "Mix 13" a-sides will be included. Not that the four a-sides have been dropped. (Thanks Simon)

Well, the campaign for Sleep When I'm Dead was a complete failure, but that shouldn't deter us from trying again. So check out the Support the Singles page, find your local station, and ask them to play The Perfect Boy. Hell, play the "emo remixes" card with them if you have to. : )
