  5. "Forget the godfather of goth stuff, Smith is a teller of truths."

  7. We're kind of not used anymore to The Cure getting good reviews...
Sure last one got some good one, but I think back then some media were a bit over enthusiasmic (if this is a word...) while now I believe it's the real deal.............

  8. Aw, that's enthusiastic I was looking for... I think.
    Tired, sorry.

  9. Ugh, the way people keep referring to TPB as a love song reminds me of how nearly everything thinks "Every Breath You Take" is a love ballad. Listen to the freaking song and lyrics and understand what it's about instead of just assuming based on one line, idiots.

And Switch...sounds like it could be an Arcade Fire song??? Talk about a classic case of "sounds like a song [insert trendy popular semi-known band here] would make."

  11. NME gave a 8 out of 10, I'm a bit shocked that they did. I know the album is going to Rock!!!! And I've got to stop reading all these good reviews! It's making me crazy, Crazy for 4:13 Dream!

    5 MORE DAYS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Nice that they actually listened to the whole album.

  13. And yeah, I do agree that it's annoying that they compare Cure songs to recent bands. Basically, I think what they're trying to say is that something like "Switch" sounds like the Arcade Fire in that the Arcade Fire are based heavily in the Cure, so it's kind of like the Cure influencing Arcade Fire influencing the Cure, which basically means that the Cure is influencing itself. More or less, seems like they just worded it poorly.

  15. NME did give the self titled 8 out 10 too. perhaps they just like the cure.

  16. Or they're desperate for that Robert interview - I don't care, this'll mean more casuals will listen which is all good...

  17. 8 out of 10 is great, but no surprises to see "goth" in the title. Mindless
