Can anyone help Kelly with this?

"I have booked a trip to Italy during the time they're playing the four shows there in late Oct/early Nov and am wondering if you have any experience buying tickets in Europe? I've seen sites like viagogo and seatwave but they always make me a bit nervous that I'll end up with fake/invalid tickets."

Anyone have any advice on this?

  1. I decided last week to go to Manchester, and ended up buying a ticket on Viagogo UK..first time ever i had tried them...ticket was expensive ( beggars can't be choosers and all that)...my ticket arrived by UPS safe and sound 3 days later..
That's my experience for what it is worth, although i would personally be a bit wary of unknown Italian sites...Good luck.

    1. Glad to hear you received your ticket quickly. After reading their T&Cs I wasn't sure I'd receive my tickets before leaving home.

    3. Well, don't ask me how it works but yes, 3 days after paying with Paypal i received the ticket,(not an e-ticket),by UPS..bought on 29/05 received 02/06.....yes they are expensive, but i did not want to wait and chance it...Ideally i wouldn't want to use them again because in the end i spent £100 for a £50 face value ticket, but the transaction was easy and i think that's what Kelly wanted to know..

  2. There must be a italian chain of flowers reader who has the answer to this?

  3. Hi Kelly,
I'm Marco from Italy. I will attend Milan shows, Madrid and London (night 2). I never buy anything by Viagogo or Seatwave, cause the prices are too high, normally fixed by scalpers. Try by this link...there are few tickets for italian shows, but this is the official seller http://www.ticketone.it/the-cure-biglietti.html?doc=artistPages/tickets&fun=artist&action=tickets&kuid=463377

  4. Otherwise check the ticketone's facebook pages of the italian events...sometimes people sell tickets https://www.facebook.com/events/1495753030726738/ (Bologna Show) https://www.facebook.com/events/540005802814809/ (Rome) https://www.facebook.com/events/199931423674071/ (Milan 1) https://www.facebook.com/events/200785213590822/ (Milan 2)

    1. Thanks, Marco. I looked at the tocketone.it site and it appears that tickets are no longer available. I'll keep an eye out on the FB pages as well.

  6. Don't even think about viagogo. I heard that prices for Łódź were up to 5 imes higher one day. I don't even know why is it still legal.

  7. Always use credit very card. I purchased tickets for the cure in Athens 2002 and sisters of mercy in Germany same week over internet no issues but that was some time ago
Always use credit card and do your research about website and supplier of tickets. PayPal is good too.

  8. Hi guys, I'm looking to buy tickets in Madrid and London as it turns out I will be able be in those cities when they're playing.

Of course, I would prefer to get tickets from a fan but I'm looking for standing tickets in center section.

    What sites would you recommend?
