A couple of weeks ago, The Cure's "Greatest Hits" cd re-entered the UK Top 100 Albums chart for two weeks. It entered at #91, then jumped to #75, before falling out again. Must have been all of the publicity from the NME Awards and the Big Gig.
(Thanks David)
It was at 112 before it got to 91 as well =]
ReplyDeleteThats really cool news. Imagine what would have happened if Universal did some publicity?!? I can dream, right?
ReplyDeleteWow, surprising! Hopefully they've gained some new fans through the NME thing.
ReplyDeleteCraig!
ReplyDelete......I really missed your April Fool's prank this year! :)
Seems Robert is pleased that Ma Khin Khin Leh has been released from prison.

It's too bad they didn't buy Galore. Now THAT's a great hits album!
ReplyDeleteWow, cool!
ReplyDeleteStanding on a Beach is their GREATEST hits package imho. Being the first Cure cd that i bought and listening to it the first time, I was hooked immediately.
