I now have a 100% confirmation that 'It's Over' is the new title of 'Baby Rag Dog Book'. (Thanks Friend of COF)

  2. Oh I love that title so much, why change it!!! It was different, unique, so different than anything else Robert has used in the past. Why did Robert have to make it so blah???????

I'll always refer to It's Over as BABY RAG DOLL BOOK!!!

And BRDB is much cooler than IO!!!!

  3. Sad. I liked BRDB.

  4. :( Damn, BRDB was one of the craziest yet greatest titles for a while.
It was up there with the likes of "A man inside my mouth", "The Exploding Boy" and "Bananafishbones"

  5. As much as I loved BRDB.....It's Over is a classic name for a song song ending a Cure album.

  6. My problem with the title change is that it will allow anyone with a stereotypical familiarity with the band to dismiss it as a depressing album, when Robert has wanted it to be upbeat and appeal to a wide variety of just such people.

I also was looking forward to an unheard new song, but this is fine, too.

  7. Like I always thought that "The Two Chord Cool" was better than "The 13th." But we didn't find that out until after the fact--or when we listened the opening line of the song.

So sorta not the same. But close. Anyway.

  8. Baby Rag Dog Book was the best working title EVER - now they have ruined it with something cliche.

It will ALWAYS be Baby Rag Dog Book to me.

    ALWAYS!

  9. It ends the album.. It's Over fits.
Plus, I imagine the end of Teen Girl Squad...

  10. Robert: Yes! Cure'd! It's Over! But Robert isn't or wasn't a Strong Bad fan. Roger was, though. : )

  11. Hmm, I would still like to see someone get CURE'D, TGS style!
    Good stuff!

  12. BTW, Strong Sad is a Cure fan.. note his Boys Don't Cry poster!

  13. Robert: Yeah, but they removed it in the Strong Bad game. : (

  17. As I said before, I don't like the name change but I'm so glad the song (no matter the name) will be on the new album.

  19. I figured and hoped it was just a name change so it made it onto the album.

But I totally agree, BRDB was a kick ass title and I too will always call it that! :D

  20. I have been raving on to a non cure buddy of mine about Bady Rag for weeks on end. Hes sort of a Mettalica fan and I can remember way back on a post somewhere that somebody described it as mettalicure. He though it was a crazy song title in a good sort of way. Every time we meet up the first words out of his mouth are when am I going to hear Baby Rag Dog Book. Now W.T.F. am I going to do. I so love the song but the title definitely added to its appeal. Its Over is nothing to compare with B.R.D.B.

  23. Mudfield don't worry about ignoramus's that dismiss what the Cure do. It's their loss so bully for them. I'm happy with Its Over, once again The Cure saying good-bye on the final track of their final album. BRDB grew on us all but it's still a dodgy title.
