Got a nice card from Robert Smith in the post thanking me for remix of The Cure’s ‘And Nothing Is Forever’ from forthcoming Mixes of a Lost World album. I actually finished it at 4am due to a deadline, sent it to Robert and went outside for some air and ting, came back feeling mashed only to see a message from Robert pop straight up. I thought bloody hell I hope he’s not gonna tell me he doesn’t like it and to fix it up. But the message said ‘Danny I love it, thank you ‘ - great end to a proper all night old school session. Thanks to Daryl Bamonte for the hookup and my dread mix partner Rico Conning as ever.
