ReplyDeleteI just called the phone number above and was told the only way they accept international CC's is by visiting a ticketing booth in Colombia. A lotta good that does me all the way from California!! ;0(

DeleteWell, let the Columbians and Peruans go and see the band, it's their first and only chance. Imagine the shows being sold out and some people from Peru didn't get tickets because some of us nut Europeans or North Americans got our hands on some of them. To be honest, if I had the time and money these days, I would really love to go and see the Lima show.. I saw the band many many times almost all around the world, ahd this would be really great. But even if I could, I think I shouldn't go and probably spoil the chance of a local fan to eventually see his or her favourite band! Think about this, my dear fellow cure nuts!
ReplyDeleteWhile I would normally agree, these aren't small theatre shows. Not even arena sized shows. These are massive stadium shows, with the exception of Rio, and there should be plenty of tickets to go around for everyone.

ReplyDeleteThere is an option in ENVIO/ENTREGA which is a kind of will call: Retiro en puntos de venta Tu Entrada (to pick it up at the selling points of Tu Entrada, there are like 30 stores around Lima). You have to claim the ticket with an ID and the CC used to pay it. They open sunday to sunday from 11 am to 8 pm.

The fact that the promoters released that info in the first place and it got published on the net actually suggests they are selling quicker than anticipated to me.
Bogota was the show with the time change, not Lima. Bogota was selling very quickly.
