The Moment Has Come post: "ALL APOLOGIES TO URUGUAY, VENEZUELA AND ECUADOR... FOR A NUMBER OF REAL REASONS WE COULDN'T GET SHOWS IN URUGUAY, VENEZUELA OR ECUADOR TO WORK IN OUR SCHEDULE (NOR INDEED BOLIVIA, GUYANA OR SURINAME)... TO THOSE DISAPPOINTED WE ARE NOT VISITING THEIR COUNTRY: ALL APOLOGIES... AND ONWARDS RSX" (Thanks Aaron)
ALL CAPS...JUST SAYIN
ReplyDeleteyou're clearly very unaware, that *ALL* of RS's messages, are *ALWAYS* in ALL CAPS.
DeleteHaving no space in their schedule after the announced dates suggests they are busy the rest of spring/summer, otherwise they'd have played more shows.
ReplyDeleteHmm...wonder what is in their calendar that hasn't been revealed...
I believe "TO WORK IN OUR SCHEDULE " doesn't really mean only a "calendar" problem.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, as an uruguayan, and as all the uruguayans... BS AS here we go!!!!!!
Seems to be a list fo the most politicaly unstable countries in South America..... lots of reports of graft and corruption .
ReplyDeleteSorry but that is just plain wrong. Paraguay had lots of problems last year and Argentina had lots in last decade. Uruguay is more stable than them politically speaking. But we are only 3millon, a small market.
DeleteYep, it's a market / money issue.
DeleteUruguay is not an unstable country , in fact is the safest of the region and Robert is no ignorant.
On the other hand, going on tour is a business too and we in Uruguay couldn't keep up.
See you in Buenos Aires!
Great, now I have Nirvana in my head.
ReplyDeleteWonder if there will be a chance to add shows in case of early sold outs...
ReplyDeleteSao Paulo (after), Buenos Aires (Before) and Santiago (after) have some space to pull out another show next to it.
Deletethe venues are huge. i will be surprised if any of those sell out.
DeleteBuenos aires could sell out. Tickets are cheap, and the argentinian audience F---iNG love concerts... Really. Here the rolling stones filled 5 times the river plate venue. 6 Soda Stereo (local band) and 9!!! roger waters.
