From Brian of
The Curse: "I recently started a
Youtube account for The Cure's guitar
and bass parts to go along with my
Cure tablature site. I'm trying to
make these videos as instructional as possible with a good view of the
fingering on the frets. Check it out!"
F yeah! Thanks!!!!
ReplyDeleteBrian you're the best! Very good idea. I'll make sure to follow your account & the site. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJust curious is all..
ReplyDeleteDoes this tread on any copyright issues??
Depends on who you ask. The Harry Fox Agency seems to think so. They're who had OLGA.net (on-line guitar archive) stop providing tabs and chord/lyric sheets some years ago.
Deletethanx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
ReplyDeletenotherbob, I don't believe so, because Brian isn't presenting the songs as his own material. He's just providing instruction on how to play them.

ReplyDeleteA few Hours After This - so easy! going to be playing this all the time now - thanks for this
ReplyDelete@the Big Ginge: It's easy, but so far I've had trouble playing the left and right hand together on the change!
ReplyDelete@Pietro: Thanks! Request songs you want to learn and I'll try to get around to them.
ReplyDelete@ xploding Boy - I bet RS played them seperately in the studio!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he did, but my inner Alan Wilder wants to put the two parts together. :)
Deleteoh-hell-yes!
ReplyDeleteI know it's not the most complicated song... but i'd love to see you're take on doing "This Twilight Garden"
ReplyDeleteWouldn't mind "A Thousand Hours", "It's Over" & "Watching Me Fall". I always feel like i'm a bit off on those.
ReplyDeleteI must admit, I miss all the recent excitement in this blog during this summer. The daily updates, the uncertainty as on whether we'd be able to watch a video broadcast, some new Robert interview, the speculations ... It's all very addictive.
