I just feel that with the other versions, they leave out too many great tracks and play too many mediocre ones.....I personally love "SHOW".....yes can't believe its not on DVD!!!!....and think 'Tape / Open' is the greatest start of the show and 'Deep green sea' and 'End' best closers.......Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06918064670671103719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1886767188052333210.post-17496010477074640062016-11-01T21:30:49.273-05:002016-11-01T21:30:49.273-05:00You reminded me of a video I saw once, Robert had ...You reminded me of a video I saw once, Robert had almost completely lost his voice to the point where his doctor advised him not to sing.

Instead of cancelling the concert they went full instrumental instead.

It was a really short video clip, I don't know from where or when.

But man, (not including the fact that the poor guy must have felt so awful) that would have been something so special to experience.

Never did find the whole video, not even a bootleg.
HolyItsaRaccoonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08427826226167087466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1886767188052333210.post-54719320357356959292016-11-01T20:07:10.073-05:002016-11-01T20:07:10.073-05:00Add many instrumental songs to the setlist, then k...Add many instrumental songs to the setlist, then keep long shows and protect the voice of RSCultHerohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10406389636492149997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1886767188052333210.post-53301847918886349622016-11-01T19:10:17.908-05:002016-11-01T19:10:17.908-05:00Just back home from the first date of my personal ...Just back home from the first date of my personal 2016 cure tour. Hope th...Wow, COF fans are generous with tickets :D
Hope there won’t be any more disruptions from Mother Nature, given the events of a few days ago. Granted, the epicenter was somewhat far from Milan/Rome (thank goodness), and many places in the vicinity had already been abandoned, but still it’s a little alarming. Coming from a highly earthquake-prone area myself, any reminder/signs of such a possibility (regardless of location) can be unsettling.
I guess earthly movements and the band are not complete strangers, considering the events in Mexico in 2013. Hopefully it won’t be deja vu this time around. I can’t imagine what it must have felt like to be in attendance at that particular show, especially with the massive number of people present. Luckily everyone there was able to sidestep complete mayhem. Looking at the setlist length, it appears to have been “earth-shattering” in more ways than one(!)
I actually was completely unaware of what had transpired at this show until well after the fact. Reviewing some of these past shows almost feels like an exercise in masochism. The Monterrey show from that same year looks even crazier, namely because Treasure(!) was played. I’m incredibly jealous, that one is high on my Cure show “bucket list” :) I’m still kicking myself for being a somewhat “dormant” fan these last four years. I hope I didn’t wake up too late in the band’s career. Is it too far-fetched to hope that RS will take after Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and others who continue to actively tour at the ripe old age of 75 (health, and other factors permitting)? Surely a cold won’t discourage RS from touring again in the future, right? Going back to those 50 songs played at the MC show, it’s interesting to note that the setlist actually looks remarkably similar to the ones on the current tour – obviously, the current shows are shorter, but the content is similar, with the exception of about 6 songs (2 from KMKMKM and 4 from BDC).
UH OH, this is getting excessive. Marc the Cure was absolutely right, this is becoming habitual(!) I’ll aim for brevity next time :D
Thanks again for the scopes and in particular for the FB live stream!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02388856214922471928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1886767188052333210.post-48301010321206233902016-11-01T12:01:56.500-05:002016-11-01T12:01:56.500-05:00I would buy one but dont have seating to exchangeI would buy one but dont have seating to exchangeDroidAKovhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17809862904840371630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1886767188052333210.post-4908170454418628992016-11-01T09:41:56.449-05:002016-11-01T09:41:56.449-05:00And, I have 2 standing tickets for tomorrow (Nov ...And, I have 2 standing tickets for tomorrow (Nov 2).
