Par...I thought it was common knowledge re Fiction?<br /><br />Parry sold it to Polydor who wanted a 'cool' label on which to place certain artists. Perry was fired after 15 or so years as a member, the longest any non-returning member has served and all because of Robert's dumb reinvention notions. The guy had done no wrong...so clearly no member other than perhaps Simon will ever say 'this is shit' to Robert. I think it's a sign of something you truly care about and are invested in. That said, I do agree that the notion of a Cure album in 2014 is as solid as reliable as the message itself being written on a sandy beach. Could it happen? The vocals for The Hungry Ghost are awful, Robert screeches the chorus. He can't reach the high notes.
